Trustpower Solar is a growing B2B solar distributor supplying panels, inverters, batteries, and balance-of-system components. As demand for solar continues to grow, we're looking for a Key Account Manager to engage with new and existing customers developing business opportunities.
About the role
The Key Account Manager will have a positive, resilient and confident personality and will act as a liaison with major accounts on various projects, provide product/service information, process orders, complete quotes and negotiate sales.
Key responsibilities
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with key accounts, becoming their go-to point of contact
- Follow up on enquiries and quotes to convert them into confirmed orders
- Keep up to date with new products, technologies, and industry standards to advise customers accurately
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, quotes, and orders in our CRM
- Coordinate with Operations on order fulfilment and delivery timing
- Identify opportunities to grow accounts through additional products or repeat business
- Represent the company at industry events, trade days, and customer site visits
About you
- Experience in B2B sales, account management, or technical sales — experience in solar, renewable energy, or the electrical/trade industry highly regarded
- Strong product/technical aptitude, or willingness to quickly learn solar system components
- Excellent communication skills with a consultative, customer-first approach
- Ability to build trust and long-term relationships with trade customers
- Comfortable using CRM systems to manage customer records and quotes
- Well organised, responsive, and detail-oriented when preparing quotes
- Valid driver's licence for customer visits
