The Opportunity

We are looking for an Environment and Sustainability Advisor to join our award winning team. We have an exciting pipeline of works and a supportive and inspiring team that is truly passionate about what they do.

Any given day may see you…

Supporting Site Supervisors, Environment & Sustainability Manager and Regional Managers in implementation of environment and sustainability through mediums such as Toolbox talks and internal messaging.
Develop, review, monitor and guide implementation of Erosion and Sediment Control Plans.
Work with traditional owners and stakeholders on site to manage impacts on cultural values.
Assist field employees and subcontractors with appropriate controls for waste and discharge water management.
Identifying key environmental risks and developing appropriate controls and communication for inclusion in work planning activities.
Assisting with the development and implementation of environmental programs, initiatives and innovations.
Investigation of incidents and working with field employees and contracts to determine appropriate actions and mitigation.
Creating and implement relevant environmental and cultural heritage management plans

Here’s what we are looking for…

A person who excels in collaborating in project teams and has a passion for complex and major infrastructure projects.
Experience in the development and implementation of Erosion and Sediment Control Plans.
Completion of at least an intermediate level IECA approved training course and proficiency with IECA best practice.
Tertiary qualifications in Environmental Management, Environmental Engineering or Environmental Science.
At least 3 years experience in a similar role delivering civil infrastructure projects
Demonstrated ability in proactively building relationships with key stakeholders and team members
Demonstrated experience in effectively working with multidisciplinary teams
