Full Job Description

Help create exceptional cakes that set the standard.

We’re looking for an experienced Cake Decorator who can consistently produce high-quality cakes, mentor junior team members and contribute to improving our products and processes.

About the Role

Bake and decorate custom and designer cakes to a consistently high standard.
Execute complex cake designs with precision.
Maintain excellent quality control across all orders.
Assist with planning production schedules and workflow.
Maintain food safety, stock management and kitchen organisation.
Support and mentor less experienced decorators.
Contribute ideas that improve efficiency, creativity and customer experience.
Assist customers during order collections.

About You

A minimum of two years’ professional cake decorating experience in a commercial bakery or cake studio.
Strong buttercream finishing and piping skills, with the ability to produce clean, consistent and professional results.
Ability to work independently and manage cake production with minimal supervision.
Consistently produce high-quality cakes with excellent attention to detail.
Accurately follow decorating instructions and reproduce our designs to a consistently high standard.
Excellent organisational and time management skills.
Positive attitude and willingness to support and mentor junior team members.
Applicants must already have the legal right to work in Australia at the time of application. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer visa sponsorship or assist with visa applications.

Availability

Full-time preferred.
Casual and part-time applicants are welcome. Applicants must be available to work on Thursdays and Fridays, with additional shifts available depending on availability and business needs.
