We’re looking for an experienced Cake Decorator who can consistently produce high-quality cakes, mentor junior team members and contribute to improving our products and processes.
About the Role
- Bake and decorate custom and designer cakes to a consistently high standard.
- Execute complex cake designs with precision.
- Maintain excellent quality control across all orders.
- Assist with planning production schedules and workflow.
- Maintain food safety, stock management and kitchen organisation.
- Support and mentor less experienced decorators.
- Contribute ideas that improve efficiency, creativity and customer experience.
- Assist customers during order collections.
About You
- A minimum of two years’ professional cake decorating experience in a commercial bakery or cake studio.
- Ability to work independently and manage cake production with minimal supervision.
- Consistently produce high-quality cakes with excellent attention to detail.
- Accurately follow decorating instructions and reproduce our designs to a consistently high standard.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Positive attitude and willingness to support and mentor junior team members.
- Applicants must have the legal right to work in Australia.
Availability
- Full-time preferred.
- Casual and part-time applicants are welcome. Applicants must be available to work on Thursdays and Fridays, with additional shifts available depending on availability and business needs.
