As our People & Culture Support Officer, you'll be the administrative backbone of our Careerships Program, Learning & Organisational Development and recruitment functions. Permanent, full-time position.
Remuneration of $2,905.46 gross per fortnight with the opportunity to progress to $3,486.55 gross per fortnight plus superannuation (12%).
Access to Council’s Flexible Working Hours Agreement.

Duties of this position will include but are not limited to:

As the People & Culture Support Officer, you will:

Coordinate administrative activities associated with Council's Careerships Program including recruitment, onboarding and inductions.
Coordinate Council's Work Experience and Volunteer Programs.
Manage bookings and day-to-day operations of Council's training and meeting facilities.
Assist with the delivery of learning and development activities, workshops and organisational events.
Support careers expos, school engagement activities and workforce attraction initiatives.
Prepare correspondence, maintain records and systems, coordinate meetings and provide high-quality administrative support across the People & Culture Division.
Assist with the administration of Council's Individual Performance and Development Process (IPDP).
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by developing and maintaining administrative systems, procedures and documentation.

What you will need to succeed:

Experience providing high-quality administrative support in a busy office environment.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with a commitment to outstanding customer service.
High attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.
Experience using Microsoft Office and other business systems.
The ability to work collaboratively while also managing tasks independently.
Qualifications relevant to Business Administration, Human Resources or a related discipline will be highly regarded.
A current Class C Driver Licence.
