The role
Reporting to the Project Manager, you'll play a key role in coordinating the commercial and operational delivery of construction projects from procurement through to completion.
Working closely with Project Managers, Site Managers, subcontractors, consultants and clients, you'll help ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities:
- Ensure all subcontractors and suppliers are engaged under formal instruments of agreement prior to commencement.
- Coordinating subcontractor procurement and tender packages
- Supporting contract administration and commercial reporting
- Managing RFIs, shop drawings and document control
- Monitoring project programmes and coordinating trade interfaces
- Assisting with project cost control, forecasting and variations
- Supporting quality assurance, inspections and defect management
- Working with site teams to maintain strong safety outcomes
- Building positive relationships with clients, consultants and subcontractors
- Supporting Indigenous employment, procurement and community engagement initiatives
- Mentoring Cadets and Graduates where opportunities arise.
About you:
Essential
- Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.
- 4-5+ years' experience in commercial construction project delivery
- Relevant qualifications in Construction Management, Building, Engineering or a related discipline
- Experience coordinating commercial construction projects
- Strong understanding of contract administration and procurement processes
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem solving
- A collaborative mindset and commitment to safety and quality
Desirable:
- Experience across Defence, Education, Health, or Government projects.
- Knowledge of contract administration and procurement processes.
- Experience with project management software (Procore, Aconex, Jobpac, Hammertech, MS Project or similar).
