Daher’s new Final Assembly Line (FAL) in Stuart, Florida is expanding the company’s aircraft manufacturing footprint in North America by supporting the assembly and delivery of the industry‑leading TBM aircraft. The site brings together production, manufacturing engineering, quality, supply chain, and operations teams to build world‑class aircraft with a focus on safety, quality, and operational excellence. Job Description
Daher is seeking to hire a Quality Manager to join our new TBM Final Assembly Line in Stuart, Florida. The Quality Manager is responsible for ensuring that all aircraft production activities are performed in compliance with EASA PART‑21G, approved design data, and the organization’s Quality Management System (QMS). The role provides leadership and oversight of production quality activities to ensure product conformity, regulatory compliance, and initial airworthiness, while promoting continuous improvement and a strong quality culture across the organization.
Primary Role and Responsibilities:
PART21G Compliance & Quality Management

With the support of Quality system, establish and enforce quality control procedures for aircraft manufacturing, ensuring compliance with PART21G requirements and approved Production Organization procedures.

Establish, implement, maintain, and continuously improve the Quality Management System in line with regulatory and organizational requirements.

Ensure effective control of quality processes related to aircraft, assemblies, and components manufactured under the POA.

Act as a key interface with regulatory authorities, customers, and external stakeholders on quality and compliance matters, as applicable.
Production Quality Oversight

Oversee production quality activities, including inspection, conformity verification, and release processes.

Ensure that products conform to approved design data and that deviations are properly managed and documented.

Monitor quality performance indicators and take appropriate actions to prevent quality escapes.

Support aircraft release, delivery, and initial airworthiness activities.
Non‑Conformance & Corrective Action Management

Ensure effective identification, documentation, analysis, and resolution of non‑conformities.

Oversee corrective and preventive action processes and verify their effectiveness.

Ensure proper control and closure of concessions, deviations, and repair approvals as applicable.
Audits & Regulatory Surveillance

Plan and oversee internal audits to verify compliance with PART‑21G and the QMS.

Support external audits and surveillance activities performed by authorities, customers, or certification bodies.

Ensure timely implementation and closure of audit findings.
Continuous Improvement & Defect Reduction

Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to product quality, process robustness, and compliance.

Identify quality risks related to production activities and implement mitigation actions.

Contribute to management reviews and provide regular reporting on quality performance.

Lead root cause analysis for non-conformances and drive corrective/preventive action plans.

Monitor quality trends and implement improvements to reduce rework and increase efficiency.

Implement Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality and minimize defects.
Leadership & Training

Lead, manage, and develop the production quality team.
-
Define roles, responsibilities, and competencies for quality personnel.

Provide training on quality control procedures, industry regulations, and best practices.

Act as the company’s subject matter expert on quality-related matters in aircraft manufacturing.

Promote quality awareness, accountability, and regulatory compliance across production functions.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
-
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in aerospace, Quality Management, or a related field.

Significant experience in quality management within an aerospace production environment with relevant experience in a leadership role.

Demonstrated experience working under EASA PART‑21G or equivalent regulatory frameworks.

Experience interacting with regulatory authorities is strongly preferred.

Certification in Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt), Lean Manufacturing.

Experience with new aircraft development programs and certification processes.

Strong knowledge of EASA PART‑21G and aerospace production quality principles.

Leadership and people‑management skills.

Ability to interpret and apply regulatory and technical requirements.

Strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities.

Clear and effective communication at all organizational levels.

Experience with QMS, audit processes, and continuous improvement methodologies.

Ability to interpret and apply regulatory and technical requirements.

Proficient in Microsoft Office and quality management software.

Ability to work under tight deadlines and in a high-stakes environment.
