About the role

We are seeking a Trainee to join our close knit team, based at our New Acland site.

Working as a Trainee MPU Operator / Yardsperson / Blast Crew, the scope of your role will be to learn the processes and tasks associated with the safe operation of our mobile processing units (MPUs) whilst gaining first-hand experience within the blasting industry.

Good communication and interpersonal skills
Enthusiastic to learn and develop a career in the blasting industry
Exposure to the mining or heavy industries is highly regarded

What you need

Current HR drivers licence (or willing to obtain)
QLD Security Clearance for handling explosives (or willing to obtain)
Current QLD Coal Board Medical (or willing to obtain)
Standard 11 (or willing to obtain)
National Police Clearance (or willing to obtain)
Forklift licence

As this is a residential role, you will need to be located within a 60-minute drive of the New Acland Coal mine site.
