Full Job Description

We are looking for an ICT Account Manager who thrives in a blended role that bridges the gap between relationship management and active sales growth. This position is explicitly designed for a well-rounded commercial professional. It is neither a pure account maintenance role nor a pure business development role; instead, it combines the best of both worlds. You will have the autonomy to pursue and win new business, while simultaneously acting as the trusted, long-term advisor for our existing client portfolio.

What the Role Looks Like

In this role, you will manage the full commercial lifecycle—from opening doors with new clients to expanding partnerships with existing ones. Your time will be balanced across two core focuses:

Driving New Business Growth: Proactively identifying, pursuing, and closing new business opportunities. You'll build your own pipeline through targeted outreach, networking, and leveraging VTS IT's strong market momentum to introduce our services to new logos.
Nurturing & Expanding Existing Accounts: Managing and retaining a portfolio of existing clients. You will build deep, trusted relationships with business decision-makers, ensuring high satisfaction while spotting opportunities to cross-sell and upsell advanced managed services, cloud, and AI solutions.
Solution Consulting: Guiding both new prospects and established clients away from transactional IT support and toward strategic, AI-driven improvements.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Working closely with our technical and consulting teams to scope, architect, and deliver outstanding client outcomes.

What We’re Looking For

Industry Experience: 2/3+ years of experience successfully selling Managed Service Provider (MSP) software, IT services, or SaaS solutions.
Commercial Agility: Comfortability shifting gears between deep relationship-building and driving proactive sales conversations.
Tech Curiosity: A genuine interest in tech trends, particularly managed services, cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity, and AI tools.
Pipeline Ownership: A self-starter attitude with the drive to follow through on fresh opportunities while keeping current clients engaged.
