What you’ll be working on

Are you a detail-oriented and highly organized professional with a passion for return to work and early intervention, looking for an entry level position in workplace injury management? As a Health Wellness and Rehabilitation Coordinator, your skills and empathy will allow you to play a crucial role in supporting our injured team members, ensuring smooth and efficient recovery and return to work while maintaining compliance with relevant legislation and procedures. FedEx is a self-insured licensee in the ‘Comcare’ scheme, and this is a key role in our national, passionate Health Rehabilitation and Workers Compensation team.

Proactively supporting our team members and driving Early Care, FedEx’s injury management early intervention program.
Working with all stakeholders to identify barriers to recovery and return to work and implementing strategies to address these.
Promoting and enabling recovery at work.
Maintaining close contact with injured team members, and establishing positive, collaborative relationships with all stakeholders.
Maintain detailed, compliant and organized records, and completing administrative duties associated with Early Care and workers compensation claim
Participating in workplace health and wellbeing activities
Demonstrating active safety leadership
Collaborate with internal departments, including Health Wellness and Rehabilitation Team, Workers Compensation, HR, Legal, and Safety, with a focus on securing the best outcomes.

What you’ll bring to the team

Experience in a similar position involving return to work coordination or injury management
Excellent, positive communication skills, both written and verbal.
Strong administrative and organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
Qualifications within a relevant discipline eg allied health are preferred
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, with strong time-management skills
Adaptable and flexible – able to respond quickly to rapidly changing environments.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite and other relevant software
