Holmesglen Institute is a leading provider of vocational and higher education in Victoria, with over 40 years of experience and 140,000 graduates. The Opportunity:

Full-Time | Ongoing contract of employment.
PW5 $79,270 - $85,278 per annum pro rata + 12% super + leave loading (dependent on qualifications and experience).
Chadstone Campus – onsite parking with close proximity to public transport.

The People Experience (PEX) department supports the Institute in achieving its strategic objectives by maximising the capability and capacity of our people. We play a key role in building a sustainable, resilient and high-performing workforce through contemporary HR services, strategic planning and people-focused initiatives.

The team delivers expertise across all core HR functions, including talent acquisition, organisational development, learning and capability, diversity, equity and inclusion, workplace relations, health, safety and wellbeing, workforce planning, performance management, employee engagement, and HR advice. We are committed to delivering professional, high-quality services that support our people, the Institute and the broader community.

The Organisational Development and DEI Coordinator provides high-quality coordination and administrative support for the design, delivery and evaluation of organisational development and diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives that build individual, team and organisational capability.

The role contributes to a high-performing, values-driven and inclusive culture by coordinating programs, events, projects and engagement activities across key priority areas, including learning and development, employee experience, LGBTIQ+ inclusion, gender equality, First Nations engagement and disability inclusion.

Working collaboratively with Institute management, staff, diversity working group leads, student support teams and external partners, the position supports effective stakeholder relationships, communications, compliance with legislative requirements, and alignment with Holmesglen’s strategic goals and cultural values.

As an Organisational Development & DEI Coordinator you will:

Coordinate and deliver organisational development, learning and development, and diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) programs, events and initiatives that build employee capability and engagement.
Manage the day-to-day administration of key people systems, including the Learning Management System (LMS) and Performance Development Planning and Review (PDPR) processes, maintaining accurate records and reporting.
Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, providing support, promoting inclusive practices and encouraging participation in learning and DEI initiatives.
Monitor and report on learning, development and DEI activities to support compliance, continuous improvement and Holmesglen's strategic priorities.
Provide end-to-end coordination and comprehensive administrative support for DEI working groups, professional development activities, employee experience initiatives, and committees, including coordinating meetings, preparing agendas and supporting papers, taking minutes, tracking actions, and maintaining accurate records and documentation.

To be successful, you’ll have:

Relevant tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Organisational Development, Learning and Development, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, or a related discipline, and/or equivalent experience.
Demonstrated experience coordinating learning and development, organisational development or DEI programs, projects or events, supported by strong organisational and administrative skills.
Proficiency in HR systems, particularly Learning Management Systems (LMS), with strong Microsoft Office and reporting capabilities.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build collaborative relationships and deliver high-quality support.
A proactive, adaptable and inclusive approach, with a commitment to continuous improvement and fostering a positive workplace culture.

WWCC and Police Check:

Appointment to this position is dependent on obtaining a Victorian ‘employee’ Working with Children Check, and a valid Police Check within the last 12 months.
