The Opportunity
We are seeking a Recruitment Coordinator to join our Early Careers team on a permanent, full-time basis in our Melbourne office.
In this varied role, you will provide recruitment coordination support across our national Early Careers program, assisting with vacation clerk recruitment and graduate program management in Sydney, Melbourne, Perth and Brisbane.
Reporting to the Early Careers Manager, you will play a key role in delivering a positive recruitment experience for students and internal stakeholders. You will also work closely with HR colleagues, and partners and lawyers throughout the recruitment process.
What you’ll do
Manage candidate communications across each state, providing helpful and timely responses to candidates, as well as internal and external stakeholders.
Screen job applications, organise candidate interviews and collate feedback.
Update and maintain candidate information in the relevant recruitment system(s).
Coordinate onboarding for our vacation clerks and graduates (e.g. drafting employment contracts and managing pre-employment checks).
Assist with program coordination nationally (e.g. booking boardrooms and catering, organising presenters and updating presentation slides).
Provide on the ground support for our Melbourne vacation clerkship and graduate program.
Support with operational changes required during our rotational graduate program.
Prepare marketing collateral and coordinate our social media channels.
Coordinate events during the clerkship process and attend campus recruitment events (e.g. careers fairs and campus presentations).
Get involved in national projects - working with our Senior Advisers across each state to deliver an exceptional vacation clerk and graduate program.
Lead on identifying areas in which we can leverage AI to improve our candidate processes.
What you’ll bring
Unrestricted working rights in Australia.
Experience as a Coordinator in a Recruitment, Early Careers or HR team, or similar coordinator/administrator position.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with in person and remote colleagues.
Strong attention to detail and an organised, process-driven approach.
A confidence to interact with people at all levels and network with prospective candidates at internal and on-campus events.
Experience using a HRIS and/or recruitment system (e.g. Workday).
An innovative mindset, curious about AI and emerging technologies.
