The Role

We are seeking an experienced Director for this exciting part time role, 3 days per week. Monday, Wednesday and Thursday leading a dynamic and focused team.

You will be as passionate about early childhood education and as committed to achieving positive outcomes as we are. As the educational leader of the service, you should be able to demonstrate sound pedagogical knowledge, exceptional written & oral communication skills and the ability to communicate with children, families, and engage educators and be a positive, inclusive leader.

You will bring your sound pedagogical knowledge, experience of developing and maintaining relationships with children, families and team. Support rostering, mentoring, daily routines, policy implementation whilst building a harmonious working environment.

You will have support of experienced administrators as well as a dedicated Education Quality Manager, Education Support Manager, Child Safe and Wellbeing team, Learning and Development facilitator and wider support services available across the organisation.

Of course, you will need:

Australian working rights
At least 2 years of previous directing experience
A current VIT Registration/Working with Children Check
A completed ACECQA recognised Early Childhood Teaching degree
Completed Child Protection Training, National Child Safety Training as well as demonstrated understanding of current child safe practices
Current First Aid and CPR certificates along with current separate approved Asthma and Anaphylaxis Management certificates
Sound understanding of the Education and Care Services National Law (2010) and the Education and Care Services National Regulations (2011)
