Your Opportunity:

This is your chance to join a Tier 1 construction contractor with a strong pipeline of major projects. Working as part of an experienced Pre-Contracts team you will have the opportunity to work on tenders for large scale infrastructure projects. Your professional preparation, competitive pricing and on-time delivery of tenders will maximise the probability of securing these profitable construction contracts.

Lead estimating activities across SMP tenders and bids
Develop detailed first-principles cost estimates
Identify and assess project risks, opportunities, and cost drivers
Contribute to value engineering and innovative delivery solutions
Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers
Support bid strategy and ensure alignment with commercial objectives
Ability to plan and sequence work packages using sound civil construction and project management methodology, considering available resources and expertise, client requirements, and profit targets

What you bring:

Proven experience as an Estimator/Senior Estimator in SMP projects
Strong first-principles estimating capability
Experience leading pricing on major tenders
Ability to identify and manage project risk and opportunity
Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
Proficiency in estimating tools and systems
