About the Role
This role is available across our offices in Australia: Sydney, Canberra, Melbourne, Adelaide, Perth, Brisbane. As an Endpoint Engineering Team Leader, you will lead a team of Endpoint Engineers and application packagers to ensure best practice support methodology is applied and customer outcomes delivered driving high levels of customer satisfaction. Due to the nature of Federal Government clients, Australian Citizenship and ability to obtain NV1 is required as part of the process. After hours and weekend work may be required as well as onsite and remote work.

This role is challenging, interesting and integral to the service we provide to our clients via the Endpoint Engineering team. The Endpoint Engineering team is responsible for maintaining the Standard Operating Environment using both traditional and modern toolsets, application packaging and ensuring compliance across our customer environments.
What you’ll do
As an Endpoint Engineering Team Leader, you will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

Estimating, scheduling and ensuring that all resource planning requirements are sufficient to provide the required levels of availability and support.

Managing performance and culture of a high-performance team

Managing team workload and priorities to achieve SLAs
-
Managing customer expectations by overseeing the support model.

Providing technical mentoring and guidance to less experienced members of the team.

Determining how to use resources to meet service level agreements and support objectives.

Remedying complex problems and provide technical consultation in line with the established support model.

Planning systems capabilities and resources to fulfil user requirements.

Mentoring other engineers in the team to uplift skills.

Monitoring performance system performance for all corporate platforms.

Managing the Installation, testing and maintaining system hardware and software.

Providing guidance and advice within the latitude of established company policies in order to meet schedules and resolve technical problems.
What you’ll bring
We are looking for someone with extensive IT industry experience and 3 years plus in an Endpoint Engineering management role. You are passionate about your work, proactive, client-focused and believes in customer service as a point of differentiation in a service offering. You can work both independently on competing priorities and as part of a team.
Mandatory Experience:

Experience in leading and managing a large high performing endpoint engineering and SOE management Team

2+ years of related experience working for a Managed Service Provider

Experience with ITIL framework and ITSM platforms for managing tickets

Advanced end-user management skills alongside modern and traditional SOE methodologies

Advance Experience in project management principles

Advanced experience in Azure Virtual Desktop, Windows 365 Cloud PC, Intune and SCCM (MECM)

Experience in Active Directory Group Policy Management

Strong PowerShell scripting skills

Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills

Experience in managing customer facing environment

Proven ability to build customer relationships and deliver solutions in line with organizational goals
