Full Job Description

About the role:

We are looking for an office superstar to join our team. The role is diverse and covers all aspects of our business and it is also an autonomous role meaning you will be working mostly on your own. We are looking for someone to handle all bookkeeping, payroll, bills, hotel bookings, phone calls, emails and general office duties such as filling in forms and invoicing customers. The right candidate will also be able to assist with advertising and social media marketing.

About the Businesses:

The role is split to cover two accommodation businesses, one being a caravan park down south and the other a hotel, pub and shop in the Pilbara region. The role is solely based in Kelmscott.

The caravan park duties would include bookkeeping, payroll, assisting with some orders, some advertising and occasionally invoicing clients.

The Pilbara business is a larger focus with the successful candidate handling all bookings, phone calls, emails, bookkeeping, payroll, advertising, bills and invoicing as well as stock received into the POS.

The tasks required:

Bookkeeping using Xero software and BAS preparation
Entering bookings from emails, calls and the website into the software – Abode booking (we can train you on this if not familiar)
Payroll for both businesses including super
Liasing with insurance companies for renewal and any workers compensation paperwork
Advertising by scheduling posts on Facebook and Instagram
Managing and editing the Wix hosted websites
Arranging staff flights when required
Receiving stock into the POS system (SwiftPos and ensuring its priced correctly)
Invoicing of account customers
Invoicing of Park Home utilities
Renewal of any licences, contracts, fees etc
Paying all bills
Assisting other staff in both locations with any issues that arise or technical problems they have
Filing of receipts
Assisting with employee sponsorship nominations for the business
Ordering stock to sell and also materials for both businesses
Managing both accommodation profiles on Booking.com and their respective websites
Answering phone calls (approx 2-5 per day)
Answering and sorting of emails, predominantly the Pilbara business only.
Assisting directors with scanning and printing when required.
Any other ad hoc office duties that arise

The role will be office based Monday – Friday 9 am – 5pm. The role would suit someone who is tech savvy or willing to learn and also able to work on their own for most of the time and be proactive.

Remuneration of a salary of $80,000 per annum which is paid on a weekly basis.

Necessary Skills/Certificates:

Cert IV in Bookkeeping
Ability to use Xero

Not essential but beneficial (we are happy to train for the following):

Abode booking software
SwiftPos Software
Wix software (minimal use required)
OneDrive and MS suite including excel required
Basic knowledge of google, gmail and business manager
Booking.com extranet
