Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping, including accounts payable and receivable, invoicing, supplier bills and payment follow-ups.
- Complete bank and credit card reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records.
- Assist with payroll processing, employee records and superannuation.
- Prepare financial reports and support BAS preparation in coordination with the company accountant.
- Assist with purchase orders, job costing, progress claims and subcontractor payments.
- Maintain accurate supplier, subcontractor and client records.
- Respond to client and supplier enquiries professionally and promptly.
- Perform general and ad-hoc administrative duties as required.
Skills and Experience:
- Previous bookkeeping or accounts administration experience.
- Experience working within the building and construction industry is highly preferred.
- Experience using Xero or similar accounting software.
- Understanding of purchase orders, job costing, progress claims and subcontractor invoicing.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general office software.
- Strong attention to detail, organisational and time-management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A relevant bookkeeping or accounting qualification is desirable.

Pay: $65,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
