Join the ISLHD Domestic Family Violence and Sexual Assault Service (DFVSAS) and play a key role in delivering culturally safe, trauma-informed counselling and therapeutic support to adults, young people and children impacted by domestic and family violence or sexual assault.

$42.19 - $72.63 per hour + 12% super & salary packaging | Temporary Part Time 16 hours per week until 28 February 2027 | Warilla Community Health Centres | REQ677977 | Grade: Clinical Psychologist, Psychologist, Social Worker Level 3 | Applications close: 29 July 2026

The Domestic Family Violence and Sexual Assault Service (DFVSAS) is responsible for delivering sexual assault and domestic violence services across ISLHD, leadership and capacity building within these portfolios and within ISLHD Violence Abuse and Neglect (VAN) service system.

Working within a skilled multidisciplinary team, you will provide assessment, crisis intervention and ongoing counselling while helping to strengthen access to services across the region. Are you passionate about supporting children, young people, adults, and families who have been impacted by violence, abuse and/or neglect? Then you could be the perfect person to join the ISLHD Prevention and Response to Violence Abuse and Neglect (PARVAN) clinical services located on the lands of the Dharawal and Yuin nations. You will be contributing to the development of a learning culture where reflection, accountability, integration and service excellence are promoted across ISLHD Violence Abuse and Neglect (VAN) services.

This is an opportunity to work in a trauma specific counselling service. There is opportunity to participate in quality and service improvement activities, accreditation processes, research, supervision, peer review, project teams, department meetings and working parties.
