Join NSW Health Pathology as a Technical Assistant and play a vital role in supporting critical forensic and laboratory services within the Receipt Unit at FASS, Lidcombe. In this fast-paced environment, you’ll use your attention to detail and strong teamwork skills to ensure accurate sample handling, uphold quality processes, and contribute to the efficient operation of laboratory services.

What you'll be doing

Providing assistance to FASS laboratories by performing a range of technical and administrative services to contribute to the efficient operation of the Receipt Unit and the broader FASS team, and consequently to the creation of better health and justice systems in NSW.

A working knowledge of, or a strong willingness and ability to learn, general laboratory duties and sample handling activities

Ability to deliver work efficiently and accurately in a high pressured team with tight deadlines and constantly changing priorities

Excellent data entry and information retrieval skills with high attention to detail and data accuracy
