Join the dedicated Brain Injury Rehabilitation Service at Westmead Hospital, a leading tertiary hospital known for excellence in complex rehabilitation care. You’ll be part of a highly specialised inpatient unit focused on supporting individuals with brain injuries to regain independence and improve quality of life.

What you'll be doing
In this hands-on Allied Health Assistant role, you will support Occupational Therapists and Speech Pathologists to deliver effective rehabilitation programs and maximise patient outcomes.
Your key responsibilities will be to:
Assist with therapy programs to build patient functional skills
Deliver therapy sessions across hospital and community settings
Prepare therapy materials, equipment and patient resources
Document patient progress using electronic medical records
Support team operations, including admin and equipment management

Selection Criteria:
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrated time management skills.
Ability to work professionally in a team.
Sewing ability.
Basic computer skills including use of email, internet, word processing and digital photography.
Willingness to learn new computer programs.
Previous experience working with people with disabilities.
Current NSW Driver's Licence valid within Australia.
