An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced automotive professional to join New Town Toyota as our Fleet Manager.

Reporting directly to the Dealer Principal, this is a rare opportunity to lead one of Western Australia's most respected and successful fleet operations. The successful candidate will inherit an established portfolio, lead an experienced team and play a pivotal role in the continued growth of a business that has specialised in servicing the mining, resources and commercial sectors for more than 34 years.

With genuine influence over strategy, access to major fleet customers and outstanding career progression opportunities within a high-performing dealership, this role is ideally suited to an ambitious automotive leader seeking their next challenge.

Our fleet operation is recognised throughout Western Australia, particularly within the mining and resources sector, where we have developed trusted partnerships spanning decades.

About the Role
This is a hands-on leadership position responsible for leading and developing our Fleet Department while driving continued growth across existing and new business channels.

You will be responsible for maintaining strong relationships with key customers, identifying new business opportunities and representing New Town Toyota throughout the Western Australian market.

Key Responsibilities

Lead, mentor and develop a high-performing Fleet team.
Drive fleet sales growth and departmental profitability.
Manage and further develop key fleet accounts across Western Australia.
Identify and secure new business opportunities within the mining, resources, corporate and government sectors.
Conduct client visits, presentations and relationship-building activities.
Develop strategic plans to support business growth and market expansion.
Strengthen existing customer partnerships while delivering exceptional service outcomes.
Work closely with Toyota Australia and key industry stakeholders.
Report on departmental performance and growth initiatives to the Dealer Principal.

About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:

Proven leadership experience within the automotive industry.
Strong fleet, commercial or business-to-business sales experience.
Exceptional organisational and time-management skills.
A track record of building and maintaining long-term customer relationships.
Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
Commercial acumen and a proactive approach to business development.
The ability to inspire, motivate and develop high-performing teams.
A passion for delivering outstanding customer outcomes.
