Our Head Office is based on the Central Coast, New South Wales with additional depots located in Melbourne, Adelaide, Brisbane, Townsville, Perth and Hobart. We have been operating for almost 40 years and employ over 250 people.
About the Role
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will support the leadership team as well as Foreman and Operators in the daily running of operations, including HR support, cost management and logistical planning of workers and fleet. Exceptional communication skills are a must along with strong knowledge of computer technology and general office equipment.
Duties
- Providing administrations support to our Operations Manager, Field based employees and internal staff
- Liaising on a daily basis with field staff
- Updating systems, qualifications and inductions
- Timesheet backup, liaising with payroll and supporting operations
- Resource allocation of people, plant, subcontractors and suppliers
- product supply booking
- Supplier prequal management
- Fuel card / Blue Key / LV allocation, management and reporting
- DPIS Coordination
- Project Stock Management - organising PPE stock, office supplies, organising vehicles, travel and accommodation
- Reception cover (when needed)
Skills & Experience
- Working in a dynamic and fast paced environment
- Logistics, planning and coordination experience from the civil and transport sectors
- Compliance management experience
- Knowledge of HR processes
- Experience as a coordinator in a business or logistics environment
- Sound knowledge of Microsoft office applications
- Data entry into accounting software packages
- Time Management
- Ability to work independently and display initiative
