As our new Workplace Manager for WA and NT, you will be working alongside the Australia and New Zealand Workplace Team and the WANT Leadership Team in managing the delivery of the Aurecon’s Workplace Strategy, including Operations and Experience supporting the Aurecon Blueprint across WA and NT. In this role you will provide advice and support to management and office users in all aspects of the workplace and lead a small team. You’ll be a vital part of the Workplace team who are changing the way we deliver Workplace experience to our clients and employees.
We strive to provide the Workplace of the future, and continually seek to improve how we support our wider business. Here are the key things you will do to ‘bring ideas to life’:
Manage the Aurecon WANT property portfolio covering office, residential and storage leases. This can include anything from Property Business Cases to rent reviews.
Manage facilities projects as required, such as office builds, moves/churns, resourcing plans, minor fit out works etc.
Lead the Workplace Team by inspiring, guiding and empowering the team to deliver seamless office operations and workplace experience, including key facilities services (security, energy, cleaning etc), front of house operations, events, and client/employee experience
Proactively manage facilities, compliance, and maintenance plans, ensuring all workplaces run smoothly and legal compliance activities are met across all sites. Review and continuously improve process and procedures with the national Workplace Team.
Supplier Account management (including managing operational budgets) across WANT monitoring vendors to seek performance improvement and value where possible
Work with Procurement (vehicle fleet), IT (computer hardware), and Finance (budgets and costings) Teams to ensure Aurecon has the tools it needs to do the job.
Work with the Workplace Experience Business Partner and other key stakeholders to deliver the client strategy and people value proposition in the workplace
Engage and build strong relationships with stakeholders across the business, including senior leadership, technology and Health and Safety. Challenge and influence decisions while still achieving the best outcome for the business. Deliver on commitments while ensuring delivery of affective communication.

As well as experience in a similar Workplace Management role. Specifically, you will:
Bring enthusiasm and energy to the Workplace team and will be able to develop strong relationships across the business with your professional and friendly manner. This role will suit an independent self-starter, who knows how to put our people and clients first and able to manage multiple competing priorities. You will be unflappable when solving problems for people.
Be a technical master in managing a high functioning Workplace including Experience in managing assets including compliance, maintenance, and budgets, have strong knowledge of what good Workplace Experience looks like and passionate in driving process improvement initiatives.
Bring strong leadership experience to the role and will be experienced in training and developing a high performing team
Have a strong foundation in utilising Digital Tools (cloud collaboration, file sharing, chatting and communicating).
