Poolwerx Lower North Shore is part of one of Australia’s leading pool and spa service networks, delivering high-quality pool maintenance, equipment installation, and water treatment solutions across residential and commercial clients. With a strong reputation for reliability and customer service, the business is experiencing continued growth and is seeking a skilled Pool Technician to support its expanding operations.

About the role

Seeking new pool service technicians with experience as Pool Techs, Plumbers or similar trade - . We offer industry training and qualifications to advance your career!

Vehicle, tools and uniform provided. Job based in Lane Cove, and working for clients across the Lower North Shore such as Chatswood, Roseville, Northbridge, Mosman.

Salary Range: $80,000 to $90,000 plus superannuation (depending upon experience & skills)

Role: Full time

Location: Lane Cove NSW

Main responsibilities:

Inspect, test and maintain residential and commercial swimming pool and spa systems, including pumps, filters, chlorinators, saltwater systems, heaters, UV systems and associated equipment.
Conduct water quality analysis and balance pool water chemistry, including pH, chlorine, alkalinity and calcium levels to maintain safe and compliant pool water conditions.
Carry out preventative maintenance and scheduled servicing activities including vacuuming, skimming, filter backwashing, sand filter changes, cartridge cleaning and system troubleshooting.
Diagnose faults and perform repairs on pool filtration, circulation and sanitation systems.
Read and interpret technical manuals, specifications and service instructions to identify equipment faults and complete repairs accurately.
Install, service and replace pool equipment components, including pumps, filters, valves, chlorinators, pipework and automated cleaning systems.
Perform green-to-clean treatments, acid washing, and pool restorations.
Operate and maintain hand and power tools, testing devices and specialised service equipment in accordance with workplace safety standards.
Provide technical advice and customer support regarding pool operation and maintenance procedures.
Maintain service records, testing reports and maintenance documentation in accordance with company procedures and regulatory requirements.
Comply with workplace health and safety procedures, including safe handling and storage of pool chemicals, equipment and hazardous materials.

Skills:

Minimum 1 year of relevant experience as a Pool Technician or in a similar trade-based role
Practical experience in pool servicing, equipment installation, and water chemistry management
Ability to diagnose mechanical and operational faults in pool systems
Physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks (e.g., lifting equipment and materials)
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Good communication skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team

Valid and current driver’s licence required. Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted. Australian Citizens/ Permanent Residents preferred.

Pay: From $80,000.00 per year
