Classification Grade: Clerk Grade 9/10
Salary: $133,348 - $146,945 pa (excluding superannuation and annual leave loading)
Work type: Full-Time – 35 hours per week, 12 months with a possibility of extension

We are looking for a Senior Workplace Services Manager to join us in filling our current vacancy. About the role
As the Senior Workplace Services Manager, you will lead the delivery of workplace and business support services across the organisation, ensuring a safe, secure, efficient, and customer-focused environment that enables operational excellence.
The role provides leadership and oversight of workplace services, facilities, security, concierge, procurement and business support functions. Through the management of the Legal Operations Coordinator, you will oversee the delivery of Office Assistant, Concierge and Security services, ensuring consistent, high-quality service outcomes across the organisation. This includes oversight of legal administrative support services, front-of-house operations, workplace security, and the procurement and management of office stationery and workplace supplies.
Initially, the role will play a pivotal part in supporting the organisation's transition to its new office environment. This includes helping to embed new ways of working, driving workplace adoption and engagement initiatives, and ensuring the workplace is operating effectively following occupation. The role will also oversee the identification, coordination and resolution of defects arising from the construction and fit-out project, working closely with internal stakeholders, contractors and building management to achieve timely outcomes.
You will be responsible for the operational management of workplace facilities, service contracts, budgets, workplace projects and continuous improvement initiatives. Working closely with internal and external stakeholders, you will drive service excellence, enhance the workplace experience, support evolving ways of working, and ensure compliance with relevant legislation, policies and organisational standards.
As a senior leader, you will foster a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement, ensuring workplace services effectively support organisational priorities and business operations.
Our Ideal Candidate:
Extensive experience (5–7+ years) in workplace or facilities management within a corporate or multi-tenant environment, including oversight of tenancy operations, maintenance, cleaning, security, and workplace moves and coordination.
Proven ability to manage teams and resources in a professional services environment, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and high service standards.
Strong experience managing service contracts and vendor relationships, including negotiating agreements, monitoring service level performance, and controlling operational budgets, along with an understanding of lease-related matters such as outgoings and rent considerations.
Demonstrated experience leading or supporting workplace projects, including office relocations, churn activities, fit-out defect management, and change initiatives within complex environments.
Relevant qualifications at diploma or degree level in facilities management, business administration, project management, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
Advanced proficiency in workplace technologies and systems, including desk booking, visitor management, security/access systems, Microsoft Office suite, and basic reporting tools.
High level of professionalism, sound judgement, and resilience, with the ability to manage competing priorities, respond to urgent issues, and operate effectively within a complex stakeholder environment.
