Are you a Registered /Enrolled Nurse with excellent interpersonal and customer service skills and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care?

Our Mount Private Hospital is seeking experienced Nurses suited to a fast-paced environment to be part of our Day Procedure Unit (DPU) and new Day of Surgery Admission (DOSA).

Key functions include:

Specialising in endoscopy, cardiac, orthopaedic, general, neurosurgery and bariatric surgery
Established and maintained positive relationships with patients, families, staff and VMOs from diverse backgrounds and cultures
Provide exceptional customer service and person-centred and evidence-based care
Provide supervision and preceptorship to Enrolled Nurses, graduates and students and AINs/PSAs
Worked as a valued member of an inter-disciplinary team, managed own work time and personal well-being
Lead successful quality improvement and safety management project/s to deliver desired outcomes
Involved in clinical and compliance auditing

About You

You will hold a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role. You will enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and have a thorough understanding of patient care in a private hospital setting.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

Current AHPRA registration (essential)
Solid experience in a fast-paced perioperative environment

Excellent interpersonal, communication and clinical problem-solving skills
Demonstrated clinical expertise and knowledge of procedures and the management of patients undergoing surgical procedures
Experience working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
Experience implementing strategies to ensure that quality and risk management are integrated into daily activities
