About Us:
Darwin Private Hospital is a 122 patient-bed facility, co-located with Royal Darwin Hospital in Darwin's northern suburbs and provides the high-quality patient-centred healthcare.
Our services range from a Cardiac Catheter Laboratory, Mental Health and AoD Unit, Sleep Study Unit, Rehabilitation Services, Infusion Centre and an exceptional Day Surgery Unit that provides acute healthcare services to the residents and communities of the Northern Territory, North Western Australia and Southeast Asia.
Key responsibilities
-
Providing efficient and reliable service to hospital departments to complement the strategic direction, operational processes, budget and business direction of the hospital/facility
- Maintaining stock inventory levels according to the demands of the facility ensuring efficient management of the stock, ordering and receiving, and invoice processing

Providing leadership in the operational direction for the department to ensure efficient and effective management of the area

Networking with internal Distribution Operations and external supply companies, adhering to corporate contracts where applicable, or negotiating for cost efficient prices

Maintaining a commitment to ongoing learning and development relevant to the industry
Essential Criteria

ERP Supply Systems experience (Tech One desired)

Sound level of IT literacy

Ability to work autonomously as well as in a team environment

Working with Children Clearance
-
Proven time management and problem-solving ability

Previous stores experience desirable
-
Basic knowledge of medical products desirable
