You’re agile, keen and open to meaningful work and opportunities that come your way.
You're looking to contribute to the transformation of the transport sector towards a greener and more sustainable future. You want to actively participate in shaping policies and initiatives that reduce carbon emissions, promote renewable energy adoption, and enhance the overall environmental performance of the transport network.
In this role, you'll:
Working as part of a team delivering end to end project management, operational coordination and stakeholder engagement across the Regional Road Network Maintenance business, this role plays a critical role in delivering infrastructure projects that support safe, reliable and sustainable road networks across NSW.
This role will see you lead and coordinate day to day project management activities, including planning and overseeing project delivery, managing schedules and budgets, preparing briefs and reports, coordinating resources, and supporting governance and reporting requirements. You’ll work closely with internal and external stakeholders to manage expectations, resolve issues and ensure project milestones and outcomes are achieved. You’ll also support project preparedness activities, including traffic management planning, environmental clearances and associated documentation.
The role provides opportunities to further develop your leadership capability by guiding project officers and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen project delivery practices.
You will lead the delivery of fit for purpose project outcomes, navigating complex stakeholder environments, competing priorities and sensitive or high risk issues to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget, and to agreed quality standards.

Experience in project preparedness related activities will be highly regarded. You should be able to support the engineers in the business unit on technical and administration processes.
