Super paid on all rostered hours, $69.28/hr ($157,612 annually)
FIFO for a short flight from Townsville, Rockhampton & Cairns
Camp is 5 mins from pit | Long-term project | Modern fleet

Build your mining career with MacKellar at Carmichael Mine, where long-term stability meets a strong team culture and modern equipment. We’re currently looking for experienced Operators to join our permanent FIFO workforce as production ramps up across one of Queensland’s major mining operations.

This is an opportunity to secure consistent work on a 7/7 roster while operating a well-maintained fleet in a safety-driven environment. With flights provided from Townsville, Rockhampton, and Cairns, the role offers excellent earning potential and genuine career progression within a growing business.

What You’ll Receive

Permanent full-time position on a long-term mining project
$69.28 per hour + super paid on all rostered hours
7/7 roster offering excellent work-life balance
Additional overtime available on day shift
FIFO from Townsville, Rockhampton, and Cairns
Modern camp facilities with meals, gym, and recreation areas

What We’re Looking For

Minimum 12 months’ experience operating 400t+ excavators and large mining dozers in open cut mining
Current RII competencies or verified transcript dated within the last 5 years
Current Standard 11 and Australian Driver’s Licence
Strong commitment to safe work practices and teamwork
Reliable attitude with a willingness to contribute positively on site
