Pizza Cook —Vinos Restaurant and Trattoria

Vinos is looking for an experienced and reliable Pizza Chef to join our team in Thirroul.

We are a busy restaurant with a strong focus on quality ingredients, house-made products and a professional team environment.

We open for dinner only Thursday, Friday and Saturday

The Role

As a Pizza Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking pizzas to a consistent high standard while supporting the wider kitchen team.

Responsibilities include:

Preparing and cooking pizzas during service
Hand-stretching and shaping pizza dough
Preparing toppings and daily mise en place
Managing dough and maintaining consistency
Working efficiently during busy service periods
Maintaining a clean and organised pizza section
Following food safety and hygiene procedures
Assisting with general kitchen preparation when required

What We’re Looking For

Previous experience as a Pizza Chef or in a similar role
Confident with hand-stretching and shaping pizza dough
Good understanding of dough handling and fermentation
Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen
Strong attention to quality and consistency
Reliable, punctual and team-focused
Good communication skills
Weekend availability is highly regarded
