Part-Time Office Administrator / Bookkeeper

We are seeking a reliable and organised Part-Time Office Administrator / Bookkeeper to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with strong bookkeeping experience who enjoys working in a small business environment and can confidently manage a range of finance and administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities

Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Perform daily and monthly bank reconciliations.
Prepare and issue customer invoices and account statements.
Monitor outstanding debtor balances and follow up on overdue payments.
Process supplier invoices and arrange timely payments.
Maintain accurate supplier and customer account records.
Process payroll and assist with month-end financial procedures.
Provide general office administration and administrative support.
Maintain accurate financial records using MYOB.
Support the team with various office duties as required.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

At least 2 years' experience in bookkeeping and office administration.
Experience using MYOB (essential).
A sound understanding of bookkeeping practices, including accounts payable, accounts receivable and bank reconciliations.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
The ability to identify and resolve discrepancies in financial records.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with a professional manner.
The ability to work independently, manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
A proactive, reliable and self-motivated approach to work.
A willingness to assist with a variety of administrative duties.
