Yackandandah Kindergarten is a highly performing Early Childhood Education Centre located in north east country Victoria. Yackandandah Kindergarten has an exciting opportunity for a passionate Early Childhood Teacher to join the Centre in the 3 YO room . This is a leave position for Term 3 and Term4

We are seeking a high performing employee with the drive to develop amazing relationships with families, whilst building an outstanding learning environment for children.

We are a purpose-built, warm and inviting early education centre for children aged from three to five years. We operate both 3yo and 4yo funded kindergarten programs, Bush Kinder and School readiness programs.

Position: EARLY CHILDHOOD TEACHER – Part Time Leave position

Your key priorities will be to:

Assess the needs of each child, monitor their progress and ensure school readiness
Ensure that a developmentally and educationally appropriate program is planned and implemented for each child
Work as a team with other Educators .
Sustain effective communication with parents / staff / children
Ensure National Quality Framework standards are adhered to at all times
Maintain and manage the resources for your room

Your skills and qualifications should include:

Holding a Bachelor or Masters of Education (Early Childhood) as recognised by ACECQA
A current VIT Registration
An ability to implement great curriculum
A strong understanding of the Victorian Early Years Learning Framework (VEYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Understanding of SRF rollout

Essential: A current VIT Registration
