Permanent Part Time (0.5 FTE - 17.5 hours per week)
$111,798 – $132,585 salary package - includes base salary ($98,499 – $116,813), plus employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading (paid pro-rata)

About the role
We are looking for exceptional educators to teach commercial cookery at our Albury and Wagga Wagga campuses in permanent part time roles (17.5 hours per week).
In this role, you will equip learners with the practical skills, theoretical knowledge, and professional behaviours required for real-world practice.
Course delivery may be required at other campuses from time to time. As such, a willingness and ability to travel is essential.
About You
You will thrive in this role if you are passionate about the Commercial Cookery and enjoy sharing your knowledge with others. You will educate and support a diverse group of motivated students to achieve their personal and career goals, while developing and delivering structured learning and career plans.
You will bring strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage students effectively through both face to face and connected learning environments, as required. Successful applicants may be required to travel between campuses and other locations to support teaching and learning actives as required.
To be successful in the role, you will:
- Hold appropriate subject knowledge and skills, and at minimum hold a Certificate III in Commercial Cookery equivalent subject.
- Have a minimum of three years post-qualification industry experience relevant to your qualifications, gained no longer than five years previously.
- Hold evidence of the required teaching qualification to deliver Vocational Education and Training (VET). See the candidate support document here for details.
- Be prepared to develop and maintain your VET knowledge and skills as well as your industry currency, and trainer/assessor competence.
Highly Regarded (but not essential):
- Qualifications in Hospitality
- Food Safety Supervisor Certificate
- Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Competency Card
