Nepean Hospital is seeking a dynamic Employment Team Leader to join the Medical Workforce Unit, leading the Junior Medical Recruitment & Transactions Team. This role is responsible for delivering high quality, consistent recruitment and workforce support services for Junior Medical Officers and non-specialist medical staff across NBMLHD. You will coordinate end-to-end recruitment campaigns, oversee onboarding, contract management and workforce administration, and provide expert advice to department heads and senior managers in line with NSW Health policies and district objectives.
As a key leader, you will manage team workflow, monitor performance and capability, and drive continuous improvement in recruitment processes. You will act as an escalation point for complex matters, oversee visa, registration and compliance requirements, and ensure accurate reporting and timely contract management. Working closely with stakeholders, you will support effective recruitment strategies, maintain compliance with legislative and policy frameworks, and contribute to a high performing, service focused team environment.

What you will bring to the role
Demonstrated experience supporting recruitment and staff establishment functions within a large scale organisation.
Demonstrated high level organisation and administrative skills with the ability to manage competing deadlines and meet customer needs.
Demonstrated ability to manage concurrent activities whilst maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
Demonstrated ability to develop positive and productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
Demonstrated commitment to providing a solution focused service and the ability to apply initiative to continually improve outcomes.
Capability, or preparedness to acquire knowledge, in working with public sector structures, policies and processes, especially in the recruitment context.
Demonstrated ability to contribute as an effective team member with a capacity to be flexible, motivated and participate in a service delivery oriented team.
Demonstrated experience in the use of Microsoft Office packages (including Word, Outlook and Excel), Human Resources Information Systems and electronic Recruitment systems.
