Make a meaningful impact in your community by joining our dedicated team at the South Western Sydney Local Health District (SWSLHD) Rotating between the areas of Hand Clinic, Chronic Care Asthma and Day Only. Learn the role of the Outpatients areas at Fairfield Hospital.

Work within a fast‑paced, high‑volume hand injury clinic that provides specialist care across the Local Health District.
Be part of a dynamic multidisciplinary team, collaborating closely with Nursing, Medical, Hand Therapy, and Administration staff.
Support patients through their recovery journey, ensuring culturally safe, person‑centred care.
Build and strengthen your skills in hand‑injury care, with opportunities for ongoing learning and professional development.

The ability to work collaboratively while also advocating strongly for Aboriginal young people.
This is a fast‑paced, busy clinical environment with strong opportunities to learn new skills and grow professionally.

As the successful applicant, you will play a key role in:

Providing culturally appropriate health education, advocacy, and support for Aboriginal young people
Being an active member of a dynamic multidisciplinary team, working closely with Nursing, Medical, Hand Therapy, and Administration staff
Developing and enhancing your clinical skills in hand‑injury care
Maintaining a patient‑focused approach in all aspects of care
Working Monday to Friday within a supportive and structured clinical setting

Demonstrated recent experience as an Enrolled Nurse in an environment appropriate to the relevant speciality.
Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and engage with patients/consumers, carers and the multidisciplinary health care team to identify and ensure responsiveness of care needs
Demonstrated capacity to interact with others in a personable and professional manner and personally resolve conflicts when they arise
Demonstrated evidence of the use of critical thinking as it relates to the delivery of evidenced based nursing care
