Salary: $66,608.03- $68,817.27 (pro-rata) + super + salary packaging

About the role

Play a vital role in supporting patient care by accurately managing, tracking, and retrieving medical records across the hospital, including Emergency, inpatient wards, and outpatient services.
Ensure the integrity, accuracy, and confidentiality of patient information by maintaining electronic and paper medical records in accordance with hospital policies, legislation, and medico-legal requirements.
Prepping and scanning patient records into the Scanned Medical Record (SMR)
Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to support the efficient flow of clinical information, contributing to high-quality patient care and continuity of services.
Enjoy a dynamic and varied role within a supportive Health Information Services team, providing cross-functional support across the department, including occasional weekend shifts and records management activities.

About you

A motivated and detail-oriented administrator with experience in clerical, records management, or healthcare administration environments.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide professional and responsive service to a wide range of stakeholders.
Proven ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing competing priorities and meeting deadlines.
Experience using patient administration systems such as CorePas (or similar), with confidence navigating multiple systems and maintaining data integrity.
A team player who demonstrates integrity, professionalism, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service in line with the values of St Vincent’s Health Australia.
