RAC Auto Services is one of the fastest-growing divisions within RAC WA, with a proud history of supporting members for over 119 years. With an expanding network of 10+ modern workshops and mobile services.

As part of this growth, our Mandurah workshop is currently recruiting a qualified Light Vehicle Auto Mechanic to join our high-performing team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art facility alongside skilled professionals in a collaborative and supportive environment.

What will you be doing?

Working alongside a team leader, senior technician and 7 technicians and apprentices, with well over 20 years trade qualified experience between them, the main duties of this role are:

Service and repair various types of light vehicles
Mechanical and electrical diagnostics
Log and record daily activities and work progress
Mentor and guide apprentices

Every workshop supports our Roadside Assistance partners by servicing and repair jobs towed in. It exposes you to a variety of challenges in your day and you learn on the job!

What are we looking for in you?

Light Vehicle Automotive Technician qualification (Trade qualification)
Experience in mechanical servicing, repairs and fault diagnostic skills
C Class manual Driving License
Demonstrated knowledge and passion for all things automotive!
