role summary

We are seeking an experienced Power BI Analyst to join our dynamic team at a financial services company that is experiencing significant growth. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about leveraging data to drive business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and manage advanced reporting, analytics, dashboards, and other BI solutions using Power BI.
Perform data analysis to extract actionable insights that influence, support, and assist in strategic and tactical decision-making.
Design and implement data models to improve accessibility, efficiency, and quality of data.
Collaborate with stakeholders across the organisation to gather requirements and optimise reporting solutions.
Conduct training and provide support to internal teams on Power BI usage and best practices.
Ensure data accuracy and integrity in all reporting and analytics.
Continuously improve existing BI systems by integrating new data sources and implementing the latest BI technologies and strategies.

Required Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Power BI Analyst role or similar.
Proven expertise in using Power BI tools to create insightful dashboards, reports, and visualisations.
Strong understanding of data warehousing, data modelling, and database design.
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to collect, organise, analyse, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
Knowledge of SQL and other data manipulation languages.
Strong problem-solving skills and an ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders in a dynamic, fast-growing environment.
Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience in financial services or related industry is highly advantageous.
Familiarity with other analytics and data visualisation tools.
