We are looking for a Store Manager right now!
As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for all aspects of store management, operations and profitability. You will lead a team to deliver our high brand, customer promise, quality and safety standards while achieving key performance objectives across sales, food cost, labour and other controllable expenses.
You will use your strong business acumen and leadership skills to continuously improve store performance, optimise profitability, control costs and create a positive team culture – all while delivering an exceptional customer experience.
About the Role
As Store Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing and coordinating the day-to-day operations of the fast-food store.
- Managing store performance and profitability in line with business objectives and company expectations.
- Monitoring and maintaining appropriate stock levels and inventory requirements.
- Coordinating the procurement and ordering of food, beverages and other operational supplies.
- Monitoring expenditure and implementing effective measures to control operating costs.
- Preparing, managing and reviewing budgets and financial performance against business objectives.
- Reviewing sales results and profitability to identify opportunities for improved business performance.
- Implementing approved pricing, sales and promotional initiatives in line with company strategies and policies.
- Maintaining accurate financial, administrative and operational records.
- Developing staff rosters to ensure appropriate staffing levels and efficient labour management.
- Assisting with the recruitment, induction, training, supervision and performance management of employees.
- Leading, coaching and supporting the crew to perform at their best and create a positive workplace culture.
- Ensuring compliance with workplace health and safety policies, procedures and applicable requirements.
- Maintaining compliance with food safety legislation, standards and relevant regulatory requirements.
- Addressing customer feedback and complaints while maintaining high standards of customer service.
- Monitoring the quality, presentation and consistency of food products and the overall store environment.
- Implementing and enforcing company policies, procedures and operational standards.
- Identifying and implementing initiatives to enhance store profitability, productivity and operational efficiency.
- Continuously identifying opportunities to improve the customer experience, team performance and overall restaurant operations.
Do You Have What It Takes to Join Our Crew?
As a Store Manager, you will be an expert multi-tasker who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You will have demonstrated management experience in the hospitality or fast-food industry, strong commercial acumen and the ability to translate direction into action.
To be considered for this Full time position, applicants must hold at least a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and have a minimum of one year’s relevant management or hospitality industry experience.
We are looking for someone who:
- Has strong leadership, communication and people-management skills.
- Has a sound understanding of sales, profitability, budgeting and cost control.
- Can effectively manage food, labour, inventory and operational costs.
- Has experience with staff rostering, training and performance management.
- Has strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Understands workplace health and safety and food safety requirements.
- Has demonstrated knowledge of employee relations, including interpreting relevant awards, which will be highly regarded.
- Takes pride in the presentation, quality and cleanliness of the store.
- Is customer-focused, results-driven and committed to delivering high standards.
- Is able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities.
- Has a passion for developing people and creating a positive team culture.
