Introduction:
Brown Brothers is seeking an experienced and passionate Event Manager to lead the delivery of weddings, private functions, corporate events and signature brand experiences at our iconic Milawa winery destination.
In this exciting full-time, permanent role working on a Tuesday to Saturday roster, you'll take ownership of our events program, driving both exceptional guest experiences and commercial success across weddings, private functions, corporate events and seasonal activations. You'll have the opportunity to bring creativity, leadership and strategic thinking to a role that plays a key part in showcasing the Brown Brothers brand and creating memorable experiences for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
As our Event Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in creating unforgettable experiences that bring the Brown Brothers brand to life. Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading the planning and delivery of weddings, private functions, corporate events and seasonal brand activations
- Managing events from initial enquiry and sales conversion through to delivery, evaluation and post-event review
- Delivering exceptional guest experiences that reflect the quality, creativity and warmth of the Brown Brothers brand
- Building strong relationships with clients, suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless event delivery
- Developing and maintaining an event calendar that supports business growth and brand objectives
- Managing event budgets, profitability, reporting and commercial performance
- Leading and mentoring the Experience Coordinator while fostering a collaborative and service-focused culture
- Ensuring all events are delivered in line with safety, compliance and operational standards

About You
We’re looking for a passionate and commercially minded events professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and loves creating exceptional experiences.
You will bring to this role:
- Proven experience in event management, hospitality, tourism or a similar customer-focused industry
- Demonstrated success managing events from concept and planning through to execution and review
- Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple prioritises simultaneously
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills with clients, suppliers and internal stakeholders
- A proactive and collaborative leadership style with experience coaching and mentoring team members
- Strong commercial acumen and experience managing budgets and delivering business outcomes
- A passion for customer service and creating memorable guest experiences
- Flexibility to work weekends and evenings when required
