Permanent Full Time opportunity in our state of the art public dental clinic in Ballarat!

About the Role

Grampians Health Oral Health Services is seeking a professional and customer-focused Receptionist to join our state-of-the-art public dental clinic in Ballarat. In this role, you will support the efficient delivery of dental services by providing high-quality administrative and clerical support to the dental team while delivering exceptional customer service to patients.

This opportunity is ideal for someone with a dental background looking to transition into administration, although applicants with strong customer service and administrative experience are also encouraged to apply. Join a supportive team where you'll have opportunities for professional development, excellent employment conditions, and the chance to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients!

Key Responsibilities

Greet and welcome patients in a professional manner, ensuring a smooth check-in process.
Ensuring our patients receive understanding and focused customer experience in their dental journey.
Management of many appointment books
Answering phone calls and managing several phone lines
Ability to communicate and work in a busy team environment

Skills & Experience

Excellent people management and leadership skills

A high level of initiative and motivation
A drive to learn and flourish
Strong written and verbal communication skills

Efficiency, with the ability to effectively prioritise, multitask and use common knowledge as required
Previous dental knowledge or experience is preferred
