Vinesmith City Cellar Door is looking for experienced hospitality professionals to join our growing team in a premium, wine-focused venue in the heart of Melbourne CBD.
Part of the Vinesmith Wine Group, Vinesmith City Cellar Door brings together a hatted French-inspired bistro, late-night wine bar, cellar door tasting experience and retail wine shop under one roof. We showcase award-winning wines from Blue Pyrenees Estate, Glenlofty Estate and Decameron Station, alongside a food offering inspired by classic French hospitality.

About the Opportunity

We are looking for confident, reliable and service-driven hospitality professionals who enjoy working in a fast-paced restaurant environment and have a genuine interest in wine, food and guest experience.
Restaurant Manager & Supervisor
The Restaurant Manager or Restaurant Supervisor will support the Venue Manager and leadership team in the daily operation of the venue, helping to lead the floor, guide the team and ensure a consistently high standard of service.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous restaurant management, supervisory or senior section waiter experience
- Strong floor presence and confidence leading a service
- Excellent guest service skills and attention to detail
- Ability to support and motivate the FOH team
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- A calm and professional approach during busy service periods
- A genuine interest in wine, food and hospitality
- Availability to work evenings, weekends and public holidays
- RSA certificate
Experience in a premium restaurant, wine bar, hatted venue or cellar door environment will be highly regarded.
FOH / Section Waiter
We are also looking for experienced FOH team members and Section Waiters to join us on a full-time or casual basis.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous restaurant or wine bar experience
- Confidence managing a section
- Strong communication and guest service skills
- A professional and positive attitude
- Good food and wine knowledge, or a genuine willingness to learn
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced service
- Availability to work evenings and weekends
- RSA certificate
