Full Job Description

ITR Pacific is seeking a hands-on, motivated, and results-driven General Manager to lead the development and expansion of our Off-Road Tyre Division within one of our well-established subsidiary companies based in Yatala, Queensland.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a rapidly growing, market-leading organisation at the ground level of a significant business expansion. Working closely with the Directors, you will play a pivotal role in establishing and growing a new commercial division, developing strategies, building high-performing teams, and driving long-term success.

As General Manager, you will be responsible for planning, organising, directing, controlling, and reviewing the day-to-day operations and strategic functions of the Off-Road Tyre Division. You will lead key personnel while ensuring the division achieves its operational and commercial objectives.

This is a leadership role suited to an individual who thrives on building businesses, identifying opportunities, and delivering sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement strategic business plans for the Off-Road Tyre Division.
Lead the establishment and ongoing growth of a new commercial business unit.
Manage all operational, financial, and commercial activities.
Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing management and business development team.
Develop strong relationships with suppliers, customers, and industry partners.
Identify new markets, products, and business opportunities.
Oversee inventory, procurement, and international supply chain activities.
Ensure high standards of customer service, safety, and operational excellence.
Report directly to the Directors on business performance and strategic initiatives.

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

Proven experience in a Senior Management or Manager role within the tyre, automotive, heavy equipment, mining, or related industry.
Demonstrated success in business development and growing commercial operations.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams.
Excellent commercial, financial, and strategic planning capabilities.
Experience managing operational budgets and business performance.
Outstanding communication and relationship-building skills.
A proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to lead by example.
