ITR Pacific is seeking a hands-on, motivated, and results-driven General Manager to lead the development and expansion of our Off-Road Tyre Division within one of our well-established subsidiary companies based in Yatala, Queensland.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a rapidly growing, market-leading organisation at the ground level of a significant business expansion. Working closely with the Directors, you will play a pivotal role in establishing and growing a new commercial division, developing strategies, building high-performing teams, and driving long-term success.
As General Manager, you will be responsible for planning, organising, directing, controlling, and reviewing the day-to-day operations and strategic functions of the Off-Road Tyre Division. You will lead key personnel while ensuring the division achieves its operational and commercial objectives.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic business plans for the Off-Road Tyre Division.
- Lead the establishment and ongoing growth of a new commercial business unit.
- Manage all operational, financial, and commercial activities.
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing management and business development team.
- Develop strong relationships with suppliers, customers, and industry partners.
- Identify new markets, products, and business opportunities.
- Oversee inventory, procurement, and international supply chain activities.
- Ensure high standards of customer service, safety, and operational excellence.
- Report directly to the Directors on business performance and strategic initiatives.
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
- Proven experience in a Senior Management or Manager role within the tyre, automotive, heavy equipment, mining, or related industry.
- Demonstrated success in business development and growing commercial operations.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams.
- Excellent commercial, financial, and strategic planning capabilities.
- Experience managing operational budgets and business performance.
- Outstanding communication and relationship-building skills.
- A proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to lead by example.
