About the opportunity
We’re excited to have a friendly, professional Receptionist join our stunning office in Oak Flats. In this role, you’ll play a pivotal part in creating a positive first impression for our visitors, partners and employees alike.
This highly rewarding role is perfect for someone who loves connecting with people, takes pride in presentation, and enjoys being at the heart of a collaborative workplace. You’ll be the go‑to person for front‑of‑house operations, helping ensure everything runs smoothly while contributing to our vibrant and supportive culture. This role also requires you to assist various teams with administrative tasks. This is a 12 Month parental leave cover. More specifically, your responsibilities will include:
- Greeting visitors and answering calls with warmth, professionalism and confidence
- Delivering an exceptional customer service experience as the first point of contact for all stakeholders
- Helping shape and maintain office procedures, policies and standards that support an efficient and welcoming workplace
- Ensuring reception, meeting rooms and shared office areas are presented to a consistently high standard
- Supporting office celebrations, employee functions, meetings and staff events
- Managing day‑to‑day administrative tasks including mail, couriers, photocopying and meeting room bookings
- Overseeing office equipment, light cleaning duties and general front‑of‑house upkeep
- Ordering office and kitchen supplies to keep the workplace running seamlessly
About you
To be successful in this highly rewarding role you will demonstrate alignment to the purpose and core values of NEX Building Group along with:
- Previous experience in reception, corporate administration or customer service
- A naturally warm, upbeat and approachable personality
- Strong communication skills and the ability to stay calm and resilient in a busy environment
- Excellent organisation and time‑management skills
