Full-time, in-office role | Coolangatta, QLD | $80,000 + super + uncapped performance bonuses

You know what good strategy looks like. You just need the room to run it.

If you’ve worked in an agency before, you may know the feeling. You can see the ideas that should work, the hooks that need testing and the strategic changes that would create momentum, but the client doesn’t listen, or your boss tells you to just ‘make them happy’. The work gets watered down, results stall, and you’re left defending content you were never given the authority to properly direct.

That is NOT this role.

Vibez Creative is a high-growth YouTube and podcast agency helping serious founders, entrepreneurs and business owners turn content into a genuine growth engine. Our clients span industries including finance, real estate, solar, cryptocurrency, coaching, manifestation, marketing, business and more. Their content is not a side project. It’s central to building authority, attracting ideal buyers and growing their businesses.

We’re hiring a Senior Social Media Manager who is first and foremost a commercially minded content strategist. You will own the strategic thinking behind YouTube and podcast content, then connect it to short-form growth across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube Shorts and LinkedIn.

This is a full-time, in-office role in Coolangatta. You will work with a capable team, including remote Social Media Managers who support distribution and scheduling. Your job is to lead the strategy, sharpen the ideas and make sure every account is moving toward meaningful outcomes.

What you will own

You will lead the strategy across multiple client accounts and turn each founder's expertise into content that earns attention, builds trust and helps create demand.

You will drive the content-ideation process, research viral topics and market conversations, shape long-form YouTube and podcast strategy, and develop short-form concepts that will be distributed across all platforms. You will write and improve scripts that attract the right audience and speak directly to ideal buyers.

You will analyse and review data to make better strategic calls. You will present clear recommendations, direct the strategic work across each account and guide the team members who support scheduling and distribution.

Your success will not be measured by posts published. It will be measured by stronger ideas, more qualified attention, meaningful views and tangible commercial outcomes for clients.

You will have access to the software and tools you need to do exceptional work, including AI tools, social-platform analytics and the operating systems that keep a high-performing agency moving. There are comprehensive training modules to help you become functional quickly. With commitment and coachability, we expect the right person to reach an elite standard within three to six months.

The upside grows with the impact you create. Alongside the $80,000 base salary and super, there is an uncapped performance-bonus structure tied to hitting agreed client KPIs. For the right person, there is also a genuine pathway into a Head of Strategy position.

What we are looking for

You have at least two years of hands-on experience in social media, content strategy or a closely related role. Agency experience is strongly preferred because you will be managing strategic work across multiple accounts and need to be comfortable shifting between industries, client contexts and priorities.

You understand that content is not simply a posting schedule. You know how YouTube, podcasts and short-form platforms can create awareness, authority, trust and revenue for a business. You can identify a compelling idea, research what people already care about, shape a strong hook and turn an expert's knowledge into content that people choose to watch.

You are fluent in long-form and short-form strategy across YouTube, podcasts, YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, Facebook and TikTok. You are confident using, or quick to learn, tools such as Claude, Slack, Canva, Monday.com, Notion, and Google Workspace. More importantly, you are endlessly curious about why content works, how platforms evolve and what it takes to generate consistent results online.

You want to be taught, challenged and held to a high standard. You communicate clearly, think commercially, take initiative and care about the details that separate average content from great content.

This role is for someone who wants to become exceptional in the content industry. It’s not a scheduling-only role, a remote role or a comfortable place to coast.
