Summary:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team in the hospitality and catering industry. This temporary, casual role is perfect for individuals looking to gain entry-level experience while providing exceptional coffee and customer service. As a Barista, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring our customers enjoy high-quality beverages.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages to customers
Oversee coffee machine settings and maintenance to ensure optimal performance
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the coffee station and surrounding areas
Provide excellent customer service and engage with customers to enhance their experience
Handle cash and card transactions accurately
Assist in training new staff members as required
Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods

Qualifications:

Barista experience preferred but not essential
Experience in front of house roles
Experience overseeing coffee machine settings and maintenance
Attention to detail
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Good time management skills
