We are seeking an experienced Waiter to join our busy Indian restaurant in Townsville. You’ll provide high-quality food and beverage service to dine-in customers, take orders, serve meals, and ensure a positive dining experience for all guests.
Key Duties:
Greet and seat customers, explain menu and specials
Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay to kitchen
Serve food and drinks promptly and maintain table service standards
Process payments using POS system and handle cash/card transactions
Maintain cleanliness of dining area and comply with food safety standards
Respond to customer enquiries and resolve complaints professionally
Selection Criteria:
Minimum 1 year relevant experience as a Waiter or Food & Beverage Attendant
Good communication skills and customer service experience
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tables
Basic food hygiene knowledge preferred
Must be willing to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
