Forklift Operator

Permanent role with a rotating 24/7 roster

Every day we transport millions of tonnes of critical freight around the country for our customers. We haul coal, intermodal containers, steel, and bulk commodities that keep Australia moving.

An opportunity has presented itself for a Forklift Operator to join our team in Townsville.

What You’ll Do

Load and unload containerised rail freight safely and efficiently.

Reporting to the Supervisor, you will:

Operate forklifts to load/unload rail wagons and trucks
Ensure all freight handling is completed safely and efficiently
Work within a 24/7 rotating shift environment
Support safe operations and maintain equipment standards
Work as part of a team to meet operational targets

What You’ll Bring

LF Forklift Licence (essential)
Current Driver’s Licence
Strong safety mindset and attention to detail
Team-focused approach with a willingness to learn
Basic computer skills

No prior rail experience required – full training provided.
