Powder Allocator & Production Coordinator
We are seeking someone with a good mix of practical production experience and allocator/admin skills to join our cement plant at Stuart (Townsville). Working under the site manager, this role will require your abilities to be hands on outside in production and you’ll also be capable in the office, managing allocations and general administrative functions of a busy cement plant.
This is a full-time position with a competitive salary and training provided if needed.
What you'll be doing

Interact with customers, subcontractors, sales team and production personnel, organising orders adhering to customer requirements, and managing delivery timeframes

Be actively involved in production - loading silos, making bulk bag products, coordinating plant maintenance and loading trucks with product

Perform general admin duties associated with purchasing, sales and accounts payable using systems (e.g. Coupa) and following established processes

Coordinate the transportation of products required for cement production – flyash, slag, gypsum and clinker

Monitor and report on offsite warehouse stocks of bagged products at the various distribution centres
What you'll bring

Production experience in a cement plant or similar, to perform a variety of tasks

Administration skills and allocator experience to complete office duties associated with the smooth operation of a cement plant

Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail to ensure customer orders are executed to a high standard, problem solving as required

High level communication skills to build and maintain productive relationships and provide superior customer service to clients

Knowledge of cement industry operations and transport requirements would be advantageous
Qualifications / Requirement

C class driver licence

Fatigue Management Certificate (TLIF0006) desirable

Forklift licence desirable (training available)
